1. Scientific Professional: Three Posts

Scientific Professional Emoluments

Rs. 20,000/- (fixed)+3% annual increase)  at AGiSAC, HIMCOSTE

Scientific Professional Essential Qualification:

First class Master degree in Physics/ Forestry/Geography/Soil Sciences/Spatial Planning//Urban planning/ Env. Planning/Geo-Informatics or  B.Tech/ M.Tech in the discipline of Engineering with at least two years experience in the Remote  Sensing/GIS etc.

2. Junior Accountant: One Post

Emoluments of Rs. 14100/- (fixed) at HIMCOSTE with  

Junior Accountant Essential Qualification: 

Bachelor degree in commerce from recognized university/institution, should  have basic knowledge of computer Operation with at least one year Computer Training Certificate from  recognized/reputed institution. Should have minimum three years experience an Accountant in  commercial accounting with public sector undertaking or private limited company with an annual  turnover of at least rupees five Crores.  

3. Driver: One Post

contractual emoluments 13200/- per month at HIMCOSTE with 

Driver Essential Qualification: 

Should be matriculate or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/institution. Must possess valid driving license for the plying of heavy/light vehicles in hilly  terrain.  

4. Security Guard: One Post 

emoluments of Rs.12300 /-(fixed) +EPF &ESI as per norms at Appropriate Technology Centre Shahpur, Kangra, HIMCOSTE 

Security Guard Essential Qualification:  

Matric or its equivalent from a Board of School Education recognized by the Central Govt/State Govt.  

Knowledge of customs & dialects of Himachal Pradesh  

5. Sweeper: One Post

Emoluments

Rs.11250 /-(fixed) +EPF &ESI as per norms at  Appropriate Technology Centre Shahpur, Kangra, HIMCOSTE. 

Sweeper Essential Qualification: 

8th or its equivalent from a Board of School Education recognized by the Central Govt/State Govt. Knowledge of  

6 Field Assistant-cum-Operator: Six Posts

Field Assistant-cum-Operator Monthly emoluments

Rs.10890 /-(fixed) +EPF  & ESI as per norms per month for running of NAMP Station at Shimla, Kala Amb, Rohtang Area,  Kullu, Baddi/Nalagarh and Una, HP State Pollution Control Board, 

Field Assistant-cum-Operator Essential Qualification:  

10+2(Science), Responsibility: Operation of ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station and sampling on  8hrs shift basis for 24 hrs a day  

7. Environmental Specialist/Expert: One Post Directorate of Energy, Govt. of HP

Emoluments: negotiable 

Environmental Specialist/Expert Essential Qualification: 

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental  Sciences/ Civil Engineering /Biological Sciences/ Ecological Sciences, Hydrology from recognized  university, Experience: at least 5 years experience in assessing environmental impacts, field based  environmental research, significant involvement in EIAs and ESIAs of hydropower projects preferably  in the Himalayan region. Developing environmental management plans/frameworks and monitoring and  evolution strategies with at least 3 years in handling and coordinating hard core EIA/ESIA. Familiarity  with the world bank/IFC safeguard policies and good knowledge of hydropower projects, especially the  catchment management and hydrological monitoring is highly desirable. Experience having worked on  world bank/or other Donor agency supported project is preferred, but not essential. Knowledge of  Ecological limits of hydrologic alteration (ELOHA) framework is desirable.  

C) The engagement would be purely on outsource basis initially for a period of one year The selected  candidates would be required to give an affidavit stating that he/she shall have no claim for absorption  in the NRTC, Parwanoo or claim a regular pay scale of the NRTC.  

D) Selection for appointment to the post will be made on the basis of academic record, experience and  interview etc

Minimum age: 18 years

Maximum age: 45 years
