HPSEB Apprentice Qualifications

(Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWDs/ PAFs of HPSEBL)

DETAILED TERMS & Conditions.

No application shall be entertained after closing date.

2. Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum will be 30 years as on 01.01.2024,”(Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWDs/ PAFS of HPSEBL)

3. Stipend: Rs. 9000/- Per Month.

4. No accommodation will be provided to the trainee. Apart from monthly stipend as described above, no Other Monetary or non-monetary benefits such as HRA, Conveyance, Medical Facility etc. shall be admissible to them.

5. Training duration: One Year

6. Order of preference to PAF/PAA:i) Candidates belonging to Project Affected Family (PAF) of HPSEBLii) Candidates belonging to Project Affected Areas (PAA) of HPSEBL Candidates belonging to Project affected Family/ Areas have to attach documentary proof for the same, dulysigned by the Concerned Deputy Commissioner or Head of Project, HPSEBL strictly as per the R&R Plan ofHPSEBL.

7. Only Female candidates are eligible to apply. Preference to the extent of 80% of vacancy shall be given tobonafide resident of State.

8. Candidates should be eligible with respect to age criteria and educational qualification as on 01.01.2024.Result awaited candidates need not apply.

9. Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning Mode or Part Time Mode or Correspondence Mode shall not be considered.

10. Wherever CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded in the Diploma /Degree examination, its equivalent aggregate percentage of marks must be indicated in the Application Form as per the norms adopted by University/Institute.

11. Candidates have to apply for ANY ONE TRADE/DISCIPLINE ONLY. Candidates applying forTrade/ discipline will not be considered and their applications will be summarily rejected.

12. No extension of apprenticeship will be given after the completion of one year apprentice.HPSEBL.One3/6by

13. HPSEBL shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices during and for after the completion of apprenticeship period.

14. The candidates who have already undergone training or job experience of one year or more after completion of their educational qualification shall be ineligible.

15. Selection Criteria: There will be no interviews. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of meritlist formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th), 12th or ITI Course/ Diploma andessential qualification of the trade, as per following details:

16. The candidates will be shortlisted on the following criteria:-

➤ Weightage of Marks obtained in Matriculation: 20%Weightage of Marks obtained in 10+2 or Diploma (In case of both, whichever is higher):20%Essential Qualification: 60%Total Marks: 100

17. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in the official website of HPSEBL. No separate_ intimation shall be made in this regard.

18. The candidates shortlisted on the basis of the information provided in the Application Form shall have to produce all original testimonials/certificates at the time of verification/ documentation. In case any information/claim made by the applicant in her application is found to be false, the candidature of such applicant shall be cancelled and she shall be liable for prosecution. Also the candidate will have toproduce a certificate of medical fitness before joining.

19. The candidate must ascertain the correctness of all information before filling the Application Form andits final submission.

20. The shortlisted candidates shall be called for document verification in ratio of 1:3 for each seat.

21. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating toeligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selectionprocess either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of theseats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim willarise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number ofcandidates.

22. The candidate must have an active email ID and Mobile Number which must be valid for at least nextone year. All future communication including Corrigendum / Addendum with regard to this advertisement with candidate will take place only through official website of HPSEBL i.e.www.hpseb.in

23. Application Form:- Application form can be downloaded from the official website of HPSEBL i.e.www.hpseb.in No application on any other format will be accepted.

Other Terms & Conditions:-

1. The candidate must apply on prescribed format.

2. The applicant shall write her name as per the matriculation certificate in the relevant column of the application.

3. Incomplete application form shall be rejected straightaway without assigning any reason.

4. The candidate must ensure their eligibility in respect of category, age & essential qualification(s) etc.as mentioned in the advertisement to avoid rejection at any later stage.5. The HPSEBL reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement / notice at any point of time.

25. HPSEBL reserve the right to change any condition of recruitment and may increase/ decrease vacancy. HPSEBL may cancel the entire process at any stage without assigning any reasons.
