CU of HP Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Himachal Pradesh State Biodiversity Board Shimla, funded research project, entitled ‘Updation of 117 Peoples Biodiversity Registers (PBRs) in different districts of Himachal Pradesh”(Letter no. HPSBB/F (21)-9/14-111-8119 ) in the Department of Animal Sciences, School of Life Science, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Shahpur campus. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The details of the position are mentioned below:-

Project Assistant Essential/Desirable Qualification

Essential:

Master Degree in Zoology /Botany/Plant Science/or Equivalent degree in Life Sciences from UGC recognized, Universities/institutes

Desirable Qualification:

Experience in Plant and Animal Biodiversity, Knowledge of different district of Himachal Pradesh

Project Assistant Remuneration/Salary

15000/- per Month

Age Limit: –

As per norms of State Biodiversity Board

The online application should reach on or before 5 days from the date of advertisement. All the applications will be scrutinized by the duly constituted screening committee and Shortlisted candidates will be notified through Email/ Telephonically.

· Selection will be done on the basis of interview by the duly constituted Selection Committee.

· Central University of Himachal Pradesh reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post at any time without assigning any reason if the circumstances so warrant. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post and its decision in this regard shall be final.

· Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for Interview.

· No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interviews.

· The eligibility of candidates will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of application forms.

· The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and services will be governed as per University/ Himachal Pradesh State Biodiversity board Shimla rules.
